THINK ON THESE THINGS - SATURDAY

GIVE US THIS DAY....
Next up in our study of the LORD's PRAYER:
Matthew 6:8-13 NKJV:
Our Father in heaven,
      Hallowed be Your name.
      Your kingdom come.
      Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
   And forgive us our debts,
      As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.

These are the times and economic conditions when we should be more aware of the Favor God has upon His people. This must be so, because no matter how difficult life is, no one in America hardly goes hungry. God has provided a way, in so many avenues, for His people to not just survive, but thrive!

The job you have each day, He provides it.
The car you have to drive to that job with, He provides it
The paycheck you get each month, He provides it.
The food you buy for the family dinner each day, He provides it.
The home you have to shelter the family with, He provides it.

Jehovah Jireh - the God Who provides - is His Name. He not only provides for our physical needs, but like with Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah, He provided the Lamb for the sacrifice...the Sacrifice for our sins. That Lamb is Jesus, the Lamb of God Who takes away your sins and mine.,

So thank Him RIGHT NOW with this pray I provided here, then add your own:

GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD: Lord, You said Your Grace is sufficient for us and it is. You have provided for us when we were at the end of our rope; when we did not know when our next meal was coming from; when we could not pay that utility bill; when we could not afford to take our kids to the doctor. Each time, dear Father, You brought that extra job, our overtime or long forgotten refund. You provide our jobs, our warm homes, our transport, our food, our entertainment, our churches….every good thing cometh from You, oh Father of Lights. Thank you Jehovah Jireh for Your mighty provision for us, Thy Servants. May we walk in Your Light to bring the Good news of the Gospel, in word AND DEED, at all times. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Psalm 37:25 "I have been young, and now am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread"
