WATCH THIS VIDEO, THEN READ MY BLOG ON THE EMERGING PATH TO HELL BELOW!

No offense is meant to anyone who loves to read or owns a copy of the Message Bible. This is not about the Bible part of the Message Bible, but it's editor - Eugene Peterson. Sure, Peterson took too many liberties with mistranslating the Pure Word of God, but many have done so in the past centuries.

Here is what he said in "EAT THIS BOOK" (Erdmans 2006, page 44) "We want a spirituality that is world-embracing, all experience-encompassing.....We are finding out about the remarkable spiritualities in Australian bush aborigines....
HOW CAN WE BE SATISFIED TO BE PEOPLE OF ONE BOOK?!!"

Holy Book, Batman! Message Bibleman Peterson just said we need more than Holy God's Word for spirituality! This heresy is compounded by the fact that he seeks to equate God's Holy Word with the earth-based pagan religions of the god of this world! This is precisely what the Emerging Church movement is.

To them, the Bible is just a book of stories, nice stories...but "we need a fresh way to 'know God'. So they are okay with the faiths of other gods that Jehovah has specifically warned against from antiquity - hinduism, buddhism, islam etc....for the Emergents, it is all about "the Story". There is no doctrine, no moral law and no hell - ask Doug Paggitt from Minnesota's Solomon Porch.

So this movement, birthed by its guru Brian MacLaren and others see nothing wrong with gay marriage, abortion and other lifestyle choices...and are leading an entire generation of so-called "evangelicals" away from the faith. It is so bad that extensive surveys by both the Barna Group and The Pew Center for Religion have confirmed that between 56% and 57% of "evangelicals" believe there are other ways to Heaven than Jesus!

Brethren, the Exhortation from the Apostle Paul is to examine yourself daily to see if you are in the Faith. It is better to get this extremely correct NOW, because a day is coming when The Way, the Truth and the Life will say to those who call Him "Lord, Lord...didn't I sell millions of books or "preach" to Millions, or made many strange looking nooming DVD's in Your Name"?!

Matthew 7:23 "
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.'"

The Literal meaning of those final Words from Jesus to those who have a change of mind, when it is too late is "GO AWAY FROM ME, I WAS NEVER AWARE OF YOU AT ANY TIME, YOU WHO OPERATED AGAINST RIGHTEOUSNESS or the LAW or MY WORD.

Nuff said.

GUEST BLOGGER - NIKKI HAHN ON "WALKING IN FAITH"

Taking The First Step, Part 5
by Nikki Hahn
www.thehahnhuntinglodge.com
Taking the First Step is a series about how a person deals with trauma and grief in their lives. My husband has been a great emotional and spiritual support throughout this process. It's been two years and the healing is slow but steady. I am very lucky to have him in my life.

A scale can feel pretty discouraging. Although I do feel good about how far I have come in my weight loss, there is a weight that I cannot move past. I walk more, eat better, and have a better attitude about things and all of this I blame on God. In spite of my weariness from Crohns, I continue to strive for good health. I strive for good health for my husband and myself.

In March, the doctor’s office had a hard time reading my blood pressure. They took it three times. It is no wonder they thought it a little high. It happens when trauma re-enters your life. I was grateful for the love and support of my husband and family during this time. Sometimes, things happen in your life in which you have no control. This is where I should have trusted God with these things. With a crystal clear direction now in my life, I take each day and each step from that difficult period with confidence and trust.

Crohns is not an easy disease. It is not as bad as some with Crohns and there are certainly worse diseases out there. I am grateful to have Crohns and not anything worse. With Crohns I can still live a healthy life. I watch my diet most times, exercise 1-3 times a week on average, and eat more fruit and veggies now. My life is active, but it does have side effects like fatigue which occasionally slows me down. Recently, I had to get treated for a skin infection. A year ago I had to go the eye doctor’s office because my eyes were swelling. These are just little things compared to the things I hear from other people.

Paul went through his life with a “thorn in his side.” He asked God to remove the thorn, but God didn’t remove it. My thorn in the side is this disease. I can complain about it, sulk about it, or maybe just give up, but I can’t and won’t give up on this life in which God has blessed me. I figure I must be doing something right with all the mountains and hills in my path. Someone once said if the going is easy, you must be going the way of the devil. Since the going has been hard these past two years, I suppose I’m doing everything right in my life.

In spite of the thorn in my side, God has blessed us. We have a good marriage, good jobs and we are surrounded by wise people. Disease or no disease, preferred weight or no, God loves me. You can be a child of God, too. All you have to do is ask!

THE MOST IMPORTANT BOOK FOR AMERICAN CHURCH AND MINISTRY LEADERS IN DECADES!

Already Gone (AG) is the most serious work on Christianity to come out in the past five years. Why? It is a warning to the church and us - fathers, husbands and men in who call ourselves Christians, that we have failed the next generation. Worse than the warning, it is evidence that modern church leaders in the Evangelical movement will be held more than accountable on Judgment Day!

Written by Answers in Genesis founder and well-known Apologist Ken Ham (with the research by C. Britt Beemer, AG gives us the bad news, for those even in our own conservative churches. The in-depth and wide ranging exhaustive research shows that not only are the kids sitting across from us going to leave the church when they get out of high school, they have already checked out mentally.

The numbers are worse in the liberal mainline churches. The analysis of the numbers show that Sunday School is to blame! Yes, Sunday school! I already feel bad for all the nice men and women who teach our kids there across America, but "facts is facts"!

Read and weep: 24.6%of kids in our Sunday Schools believe God used evolution to create humans! ONLY 40.8% believe Pre-marital sex is NOT right!

It gets worse: 39.1% of our Sunday school kids think they have become MORE anti-church over the years and 46.4% thing the church is NOT relevant to their needs!

These are just some of the horrible facts, evidence and trends in this most critical work in years. It is no wonder young evangelicals think being pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage is okay and live, vote, eat, read and think like this. The problem is not just the vile teachings of the darwinists and morally relativists in the public schools but people who run the seminaries where prayer is lost, discipleship is trivialized and modern apostates in the Gospel-free zone of the Emerging Church are looked to, instead of the orthodox masters of Expository preaching. One particular conservative christian college (well known) does not even believe in the 6000 year story of Genesis.

Here is where we lost the young - the book of Genesis where we see the Fall of man. Sin has so corrupted the church (which is a group of people who live in the secular world) that now the god of this world - satan - has deceived millions to turn from the Faith of their Grandfathers. I said Grandfathers, because we are still struggling with the sons of the so-called greatest generation, to encourage them/us to grow or become TRUE men of Christ.

Can this madness be turned around? Can we bring the next generation to an understanding of why they need Christ? Maybe. We start small - by calling every church leadership to account. Sunday school in most conservative churches have the lowest attendance for this same reason, even among adults. Only the faithful like us, who are proactive 24/7/365 go to make sure our own kids develop the practice.

I suggest, if you are any kind of leader in ministry, in FCA, in a church or just care about the lost, forget about overseas missions. God has His people for that. The biggest mission field can be found inside ALL American churches.

The sign over the exit door used to read "YOU ARE NOW ENTERING THE MISSION FIELD". THAT SIGN HAS NOW BEEN MOVED TO THE DOOR THAT LEADS INTO THE SANCTUARY! THIS IS SAD, IT MUST BE ADDRESSED!

Purchase "Already Gone", you will thank God you did!
