2011 CAPITOL CITY NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER OBSERVANCE!

EAST STEPS, LINCOLN STATUE, ILLINOIS STATE CAPITOL , SPRINGFIELD,
WORSHIP STARTS AT NOON
RAIN LOCATION: HOWLETT BUILDING'S HALL OF FLAGS (south of the Statue)

iWorship Leader  Dennis Nichols prays for Springfield
Each year, on the first Thursday of May, America celebrates the National Day of Prayer. This is a non-denominational Christian event where like minded citizens come together to pray for the country, community and each other. After years of dwindling interest and participation, Business Men in Christ brought the event back to live in May 2006 and it has been growing since.

We have reached out not just to pastors of the area churches, some of them all the way downstate to the St Louis region, but across denomination lines to spirit-filled ministries and prayer leaders, who would not normally have a chance to be involved in a more exclusive event. After years of outreach, B.M.I.C. is now here for the long haul as the People's Forum to lift up the Name of Jesus in Praise and Worship in Public.

We have withstood the criticism of liberals in the clergy as well as pharisees on our own side. We are just here to follow Jesus, make Disciples, win souls to the Lord and Worship Him Who sits upon the Throne.

If you are in agreement with this, come and join us tomorrow - THURSDAY MAY 5, 2011 at the Capitol East Steps at noon and be blessed by Power Worship and Intercessory Prayer! My thanks to my awesome assistant Kathy Smith, who is the best Close Captioner in the World and has signed on for the long haul as well!! Glory  to the Name of the Lord Jesus Who reigns forever and ever more, Amen and Amen!
