777 - SEVEN DAYS OF PRAYER (JULY 1-7, 2014)

DAY 3 (JULY 3, 2014):

PRAYER FOCUS: REPENTANCE

We are in a bad place, corporately, as a people.  Individually, we are sinners saved by Grace, but as a corporate humanity, we are a foul odor in the nostrils of Holy God. We as a people have committed three types of sin against God, of which, if we as a people do NOT repent and turn from our wicked ways, the Judgment of God will fall swiftly.

On a national level, we see the swift decline in not just the western world but specifically here in the one country which everyone worldwide considered a Christian country - America. The Hand of Protection of Almighty God was pulled off the United States on September 11, 2001 when the biggest attack on the country since Pearl Harbor was allowed to strike. Right after that, there was a huge show of "religiousity" with people flocking to churches etc for a few weeks. The problem with that - it was all show! America and its church leaders quickly went back to business as usual and now, we are in a societal as well as spiritual free fall over a cliff. The reason this is happening are three things related to Sin, which are listed in the first two verses of Psalm 51 below and underlined in RED. They are Transgessions, Iniquity and Sin. All three of them fall under the umbrella of sin which God abhors.

Just briefly, Transgression is OPEN rebellion against God. It is what King David did when he knowingly sinned, even though God spoke directly to him and allowed him to write the Psalms under inspiration. He knowingly went and took another man's wife- Bathsheba, impregnated her and then killed her husband. He knowingly lived with that sin for two years before God had enough and sent the prophet Nathan to finger him and call him out. America has spit in the eyes of God with idolatry, celebrity culture, removing God from schools and crosses from churches. We have judges forcing unbiblical re-definition of Holy Matrimony and certain mainline churches sanctioning same-sex clergy and other sin. This is open rebellion against God - Transgression - which if not repented of as King David did in Psalm 51 below, will lead to the spiritual death of a nation.

So Father, in the Name of Jesus, I repent of my part, in participating in this evil celebrity culture and for supporting those things and people who have openly rebelled against you, because "it was the cool thing to do". Please forgive me, most Holy and Righteous Father and forgive us all, those to whom You have given the Spirit of Repentance.

Iniquity, the other type of sin, is not as vile as Transgression, but is just as deadly. Iniquity is repeat, habitual sin - like looking at pornography or R rated movies and feeling guilty...but stilling going back to Family Video Stores and renting some Sharon Stone or Robert DeNiro movie because you think it has a good story. It is like becoming a weekend drinker of beer or something and thinking that is okay, since you do not do it daily.

Father in the Name of Jesus, I repent of all my iniquity. Search my heart oh God and seek and find ALL that is evil within me, which cause me to go back "there" again, even though I (we) promised many times to "never do this again" - and then root it out. Then give me the strength to replace all those things with Thy Word and prayer and praise that I may grow in the Wisdom and knowledge of Christ and it is in His Name I pray, Amen.

Transgression and iniquity - the two big sins against God - will get anyone into deep trouble with the Father. The misdemeanor sins one commits daily are easily forgiven but iniquity and open rebellion are deeply troubling. If those are not taken care off, then God help us. Today, (and always) let us go into a deep mode of repentance and seeking His complete and absolute forgiveness or face the Wrath of God here on earth and then on the soon coming Day of the Lord. Amen

Psalm 51(1-11)

Have mercy upon me, O God

According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
2 Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.

3 For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
4 Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,[a]
And blameless when You judge.

5 Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
6 Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.

7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
8 Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
9 Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

AMERICA UNDER JUDGMENT - HOW THE CHURCH BLEW IT

For it is time for judgment to begin at the household of God; and if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God? (1 Peter 4:17)
America's "famous pastors" are well known for their glitz and glamor as well as their megachurches and multi-media. They are celebrities at conventions and conferences. Their TV shows are watched by millions and they're invited on secular news programs to speak about this or that controversial topic from time to time.  They tweet. Their followers sometimes troll blogs and websites to post comments defending them, sometimes with vitriol, if they find their favorite celebrity preacher mentioned in an unfavorable light. I know personally about this. One time an Andy Stanley fanatic found this relatively small little blog and reacted to me mentioning his hero, in a comment about a group of ministers who make teaching videos.

One thing you will not see America's pastors talking about this past year is the issue of so-called gay "marriage". Even when the Supreme Court through the dictates of one man, redefined God's Word - an unpardonable sin - America's super-pastors kept silent. They are still speaking loudly by their silence. On the local level, it is a mixed bag. Still, there IS a remnant out there. 

Not a word from the National Association of Evangelicals and others who used to pontificate on fake phenomenon like global warming.

Not a word about the coming global warming - HELL - from the "amen" corner, because they are afraid to offend their million-dollar personal fiefdoms in Houston, Southern California or Seattle or Atlanta or Orlando or New York City or Michigan or Barrington, Illinois etc etc... 

Not a word about the coming Judgment on America by Holy God which they refused  to warn of because they would offend the seekers by "being too judgmental".
Not a word about sin - personal, corporate and national, while national leaders sin with impunity and the corrupt culture are leading our young people into hell.

Narry a word of outrage over the continued loss of Religious Liberty, still constitutionally protected, as more and more secularists are manipulating the words "Religious Liberty" into "freedom of worship",

What is the reason for allowing the world to so turn the minds of the so-called "under-shepherds" of Christ? Is it the loss of 501 C 3 tax free status of the church, in case they proclaim Truth from the pulpit like to power, like Jeremiah or Ezekiel? We know they are afraid of losing rich tithers and some of the younger church leaders want to appear cool.  But don't they know the following is still operational - "Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we will incur a stricter judgment.(James 3:1)

They will be judged more intensely than those whom they allowed to sit in the pews, Sunday after Sunday. 
By being in charge of programs to finance parking lots and new carpets or chandeliers, rather than ensure their flock was being discipled, these church leaders will suffer loss.
By going for atmospherics and contrived feel-goodism, they will suffer loss.
By allowing the generation who grew up on YouTube and Darwinism to not relate the Bible accounts of the Creator to even the youngest person's life, they will suffer loss.
By staying silent while 60% of their youth engaged in sexual activity and the rate of divorce is as same as the secular world, they will suffer loss.
By staying silent while national and even church leaders compromised to get along and curry favor with those in power, they will suffer loss.
By staying silent while saints overseas were persecuted
By staying silent when military Christian chaplains are told not to pray in Jesus' Name
By staying silent while activists with demonic agendas blasphemed God and Jesus Christ
By staying silent when lost people redefine and rewrite God's Word, thereby violating every command of Scripture, there will be some very serious accounting to face.

Where are the men like AW Tozer, who warned of this same evil compromise over 60 years ago?
Where are the men like David Wilkerson, who prophesied about the coming day of degradation and filth we see today?
Where are these men? There're already speaking - Paul Washer; Dr. John MacArthur; Dr. Voddie Baucham; Dr. Erwin Lutzer....and a few others. These are not the popular and will not be hip to those in the Macchiatto and Starbucks church crowd. 

Today, as fires rage across the deep west...today as extreme heat pounds pagan California....today as extreme weather hits almost every region of these once great United States except the Bible Belt, there is still no biblical discernment from the official church. It is obvious to those of us who pray and can read the sign of the times, by knowing the End Times prophesies, that this is the beginning of Divine Judgment.

The reaction to all of this is not to create another sinful affront to God, like "global warming or climate change" but to repent, fall on our collective knees and beg forgiveness from Holy God. Do you think this country is up to that? If past is prologue - no. Many will be surprised on That Day, when the Lord declares "Depart from Me, I never knew you!" - to America's so-called Christians and church leaders.

Don't take my word for it - read the Bible and believe, or disbelieve at your own peril. If thou wishest to avoid that day, repent....repent....repent and put your entire life in Jesus Christ as Lord of your Life - now....and  thenl, keep praying!

AMERICA UNDER JUDGMENT - IN GOD'S COURTROOM!

"Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them"...Revelation 20:11

The United States Supreme Court has been at the center of enforced erosion of the moral and spiritual center for decades now. From former Ku Klux Klan bigot-turned liberal Hugo Black to the current Justice Anthony Kennedy, there has been a wholesale removal of God from the public life - never mind the violation of the First Amendment rights of the average citizen. To men like Hugo Black and his "wall of separation of Church and state", the religious liberties and rights of the ordinary citizen is meaningless when compared to their moral and intellectual self-righteousness and superiority.

The former KKK member/Supreme Court Judge Hugo Black, who hated Catholics as much as he hated God, wrote the majority opinion in 1947 in the case of Everson vs Board of Education which stopped the use of local public funds for the transport of children, via school buses, to local religious schools. It was not just the decision but the vitriol he aimed at the taxpayers, who now could not have their kids bused along with public school children.

Then in 1962, the same thorn in the side of God - Hugo Black, wrote the same kind of majority opinion in Engel vs Vitale Case when by a majority if 6-1 (which included Supreme Court justices like the Kennedys of that day - Earl Warren) threw God and prayer out of schools. Black's majority opinion was just as contrived as that letter by Jefferson to the Danbury Baptists which started all this fake "Separation of church and state"  stuff.

One year later, the same Earl Warren Supreme Court removed the Bible from Schools. Fast forward to exactly 10 years later and in 1973, Justice Harry Blackmun, whose name will forever live in infamy (like Black), wrote the majority opinion on Roe vs Wade. We have had over 55 million American babies aborted since and counting. The premise of the right to an abortion was found in a made up thing which did not exist in the real constitution, i.e. "emanations from the penumbra".....typical liberal-speak.

Exactly forty years later, in a biting deviation from the Word of God, another supreme court judge - Kennedy - invalidated 6000 years of civilization. By his majority 5-4 liberal decision, he virtually created a right to same-sex marriage which will reveberate throughout society and damage the First Amendment, religious liberty and more. Just like Roe vs Wade, these pontificating people could care less about the moral fabric and its effect on children.  

When these judges removed God from the public schools starting in 1947 to this last shot across the bow by Kennedy, they also removed His Morality. We see the decline in education, the culture and the family. It did not start overnight, and it had a lot of  help from politicians and judicial activism.

This is just the start of an assault of religious freedom by the Court.  More cases will be coming up before it and they involve the healthcare mandate on religious hospitals and employers. These institutions are being told to provide contraceptives and abortion pills as part of their health care packages to employees (re:health care reform). So far lower courts have only upheld religious freedom of these individuals on a sporadic basis. Therefore, the First Amendment will be on trial again before the US Supreme Court where it may or may not stand a chance.

However, the US Supreme Court is not the only supreme mess out there. The entire infrastructure of America has crumbled, and we see it collapsing like a house of cards almost daily. Here is what we can take from this - days are coming, declares the Lord, when True Justice will be served. God's Justice will not be just for matter like these, but all the transgressions against His Holiness since the beginning of time. The Holy God of Heaven, Whom these people (and all who have sinned and NOT accepted Christ as Lord and Savior) will face on Judgment Day will be using the same Law against them that He put in every human heart, since Creation. Whether the Lost believe in God or not does not matter. They will stand accused and completely guilty on that day.

Two things are to be taken away from the following passage in Revelation, which should give hope to all persecuted saints of God - whether they are persecuted in Iran or Nigeria or increasingly here in the US. These two things are one - nothing has escaped God and two, the books will be open with Jesus Christ the Righteous Supreme Judge of the Universe holding court. With Him in charge, all will be cleaned up and supreme justice will be served.

The Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15):

Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them.  And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

All of this is horrible stuff. Still, even the vilest sinner - from the highest to the lowliest person in the world, can have their sins forgiven, be made new and be set free and saved by the Spirit of God. All any person has to do is cry out to the Lord, ask His forgiveness for our sins and then accept the finished work on the Cross. If it can happen to "Roe" (Norma McCorvey) of Roe vs Wade, the Apostle Paul or you and I, salvation can come to anyone.
