THE OMNISCIENT GOD
13 For You formed my inward parts;
You wove me in my mother’s womb.
14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works,
And my soul knows it very well.
15 My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
And in Your book were all written
The days that were ordained for me,
When as yet there was not one of them. (Psalm 139:13-16)
"Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done; this is not the Christ, is it?” They went out of the city, and were coming to Him." (John 4:29-30)....these are the words of the five-time married, now living in sin, famous "Woman at the Well"!
Putting aside the obvious amazement that a fairly loose heathen woman would obviously know more Scripture and prophesy than 75% of church women (and men) today, her words reveal so much more about an Attribute of God, it is uncanny.
In fact, this statement by another unnamed biblical figure who was healed by Jesus explains beautifully the verses from Psalm 139 written above (verses 13-16)! By the way, there is a reason almost none of the multitude of Jesus healed and/or ministered to, are actually named in the Gospels. Whether it is this now wonderful converted Samaritan saint, or the woman with the blood issue or the nobleman's son or the blind man or the ten lepers....and on and on. Not one of them was named. They were not named because the Holy Spirit of God Who inspired Scripture wants us to focus on the God Who Heals (Yahweh Rophe).
In Psalm 139 verse 13, we see the intricacy of the Design of the most Intelligent Designer of the Universe and Creator of Heaven and Earth. The most evil thing about governments and educators forcing human beings to learn their "Theory of Evolution" only, as if it were fact, is it robs people of their souls coming into true fellowship. When you force-feed innocently trusting kids seeking knowledge, that their ancestors crawled out of the ocean or were monkeys that came from a big bang that came out of nothing, what hope do you expect them to have about a great life out there for them?
We can discuss the future fiery home of these people some other time, but an absence of God in education, culture and now sadly, church culture has led the vast majority of mankind in the past 150 years permanently away from the All-seeing, All-perceiving God Who is both omniscient and loving, if some of these same humans would open their brains and think a little. Christianity is the only thinking man's religion where you do not check your brains at the doorstep.
Verse 14: We believe that this incredible human body with its amazing network of cells, ligaments, a heart that pumps blood, lungs that take in air and a brain which cannot be fathomed, did NOT come from some explosion out of nothing-ness or an ape. The same people who teach this vile stuff, will force food or auto manufacturers to follow the law very carefully to insure their products are safe, workable and up to code. Yet with matters of even more significance, they deny the Creator.
We invite you to think of what "fearfully and wonderfully made" actually means. Some would argue that the Alabama-based Mercedes Benz plant makes some of the most wonderful creations of autos. The engineering that goes into a Nissan in Tennesee or the Toyota in Kentucky is incredible. But even these machines are not built to last 30-40-70-95 years (or over 100 years) in some cases. The human body is! Some people abuse their own bodies with gouging at buffet restaurants, diet coke, rum and coke or burgers with cheese sauce, bread and fries (over 5000 calories) and still, if they change their diet and exercise, the body restores itself. In the original language, "fearfully" means that God has set us apart from the other species (like animals) with such respect, reverence and such heart-felt interest in His Creation that He made a marvelous (wonderful) thing! This is why He says in Psalm 116:15 "precious in the Eyes of the Lord is the death of His saints". God respects and loves those who love Him and our death on earth is precious to Him, since it means, He is calling us now, literally back to Himself. When we are forgiven and saved by the Blood of Christ, our inner person instinctively knows all this, since our inner person is awakened as unto God. Each human has that capacity to know God intimately, unfortunately, the majority reject that free gift.
Verse 15: Consider this the following: if you or I were working on a song with our guitar or piano, or say my friend who is an artist with wax and oils starts working on the huge four by six foot canvas, would we really want to stream it LIVE over Facebook or Periscope or God knows what else is out there? No! The majority of sane people would wait until we are good and ready to showcase the item, or painting before releasing for public consumption. God is the Wisest Being in the Universe and His teachings and creation are out there and plain for EVERYONE to see. We have the Bible and can see everything around us including the uncountable stars and galaxies. However, He does His most important work in secret there- and that is the forming and shaping of the Souls of His Saints.
We were fearfully and physically wonderfully made, when Adam was created and the human race began. We are all direct descendants of Noah and his sons and their wives (from whence all the races came). We do not get to see the baby in a mother's womb at Memorial Hospital grow from conception to a 10 weeks old to six months in, until we see the child delivered at birth. The baby is alive from the moment of conception. The mother knows the baby is alive. The ultrasound PROVES there is a baby in there. God put the entire baby Creation in motion. This is all done away from Facebook Live and all public eyes. This is how our God works. His best work is done in secret, because, in spiritual terms, it is the fruits of our labor which matters.
Verse 16: The Attributes of God all work together - for obvious reasons. First of all, He is God. Secondly, while His personality, like ours, may have different qualities, it is still different sides of the same Coin. He is both all-knowing, all-seeing and all-powerful. We know from the New Testament as well, that God knows us before He even created the world. So it is no surprise that our actual time on this earth is both known and set in stone.
There is only one instance in history where God extended a man's life. King Hezekiah appealed to the Lord and was given 15 more years by the Lord. Hezekiah found out from the prophet Isaiah he was about to die and cried out to heaven. Now God knew in advance He was going to give this grace to the king. Nothing takes God by surprise. He knows the beginning from the end and vice versa. While we will only live those numbereD days, preset by our Heavenly Father, how we live here on earth means EVERYTHING. Most people just stumble through life, do what they think is the best they can and then wait to pass on. Most think they are "okay" and God is okay with that. Most are wrong.
Jesus said He came to give us life, to give us life more abundantly and that begins now. The moment we come into relationship with God through Christ, and are born again, we begin the journey which will carry us through Eternity. How awesome and truly great this permanent relationship with God through Christ is, depends entirely on us. We can know all these stunning attributes of God and quote them freely, but if we do not intimately know the God behind these attributes Himself, we are lost and in eternal danger. Do you know Him? Does HE know YOU, as His? It is easy to do - Jesus said "the time is fulfilled (here), repent, believe the Gospel" (Mark 1:15)....and be saved. Amen.

A TRUE GIFT OF A BOOK
BOOK REVIEW:
THE HOLY SPIRIT-SPIRITUAL GIFTS: BOOK 2
One
of the key things I’ve discovered, when reading any of Susan Rohrer’s books is
this: there is never a dull moment. Rohrer uses her background as a
TV/Movie producer, screenwriter, director, and author to expertly weave a
flowing narrative, regardless of the genre of book project she explores at the
time. I have read all of Rohrer’s previous nonfiction titles (The Holy
Spirit – Spiritual Gifts: Book 1, Is God Saying He’s the One?, Secrets
of the Dry Bones) and her entire Redeeming fiction series. The
latter were novels with wholesome, beautiful, romantic themes that I’ve
addressed from my point of view of a minister, in the reviews that have
previously appeared here on my blog. Rohrer’s novels are adapted from her many screenplays.
They are fast moving, dynamic, with the high-quality dialogue you would find in
one of her screenplays or movies.
It
is that literary
quality that the reader will find in her second book in the Illuminated
Bible Study Guides series, The Holy Spirit – Spiritual Gifts: Book 2: SurprisinglySupernatural Service Gifts. What Susan Rohrer has done in
this comprehensive study of the Gifts of the Spirit, examined in detail,
fleshed out with the appropriate in-context Scripture and with the healthiest dose
of personal story and testimony, is just remarkable. She has rendered some
extremely difficult to explain and comprehend Biblical principles in easy to
grasp terms.
If
you’re a regular “Rohrer Reader” (i.e. a fan of her books like I am), the
conversational literary style is recognizable from her novels. If you look
at Jesus’ simple stories in the Gospels, He speaks plainly all the time. This
is especially true in the Sermon on the Mount. When a Christian speaks plainly
and truthfully in context with the Bible, he or she operates in the gifts and
blessings embedded in us by our Heavenly Father. Herein lies the key to
unlocking the riches found in Susan Rohrer’s new book.
Whether
one has directed national award-winning films or CBS television specials like
Susan Rohrer or is like the rest of us with our little daily VBS comedy skits
annually, there is one significant common denominator needed – attention to
detail. Attention to detail shows commitment, confidence in the knowledge of
the subject matter, and a healthy respect for the work with which one is
tasked. The effective communication of vision and message requires not just a
grasp of detail, but also how it applies or does not apply in certain
situations. This is what the author does in her book here. She goes into some
really solid insight by paying attention to the details and application of each
of our God-given spiritual gifts. This is not an easy thing to do, especially
in today’s five-second sound bite world, even in Christianity, where people do not
even go to church with their Bibles anymore.
What
has resulted from Susan Rohrer’s long labor of love to mine the depths of the
meaning and application of these graces is this wonderful manual on Divine
Giftings. Her book is more than worth the investment of both time and
resources. Not just that, I may even venture to say that it should be kept as a
reference book so we may readily refer to it, in order to assist others in
discovering how to discern which gifts they are endowed with for kingdom work.
The
full range of service gifts are lovingly, firmly, and accurately defined with
application in The Holy Spirit – Spiritual Gifts: Book2. There are chapters on the gifts of encouragement, giving,
mercy, and ministry. Among others, the chapter called “Heroic Helps” will
inspire, as well as this very sensitive topic: Celestial Celibacy.
For those of us who are or were in church or ministry leadership, the final two
chapters are particularly important.
What really spoke to me, knowing that the
author – Ms. Rohrer – spoke directly from the Word of God, were all her points
on godly leadership and administration talents as a function of the high level
of stewardship we are expected to deliver as ministry or church leaders. If a
deacon, youth pastor, small group leader, or even a senior pastor can honestly
assess one’s life in light of the last two chapters, then any portion of the
previous chapters on the gifts can be easily explained to one who is searching.
Christians
of all ages operate way below their talents and potential imparted to them at
the point of salvation. There is absolutely no reason why we cannot live life
in the fullness of joy and true service. If you want this kind of
life—knowing that the God of Heaven saved you and me through Christ, to be His
Hands and Feet during our lives here on earth—The Holy Spirit -Spiritual Gifts: Book 2 is for you.
Finally,
I’ll suggest an even more personal reason to read Susan Rohrer's new offering.
What the reader will discover really endearing and, most of all, authentic
about this book is the author’s application of her own story. Susan Rohrer is
more than transparent about her own victories and even times when things did
not go well at all. She uses her amazing life experiences to give itemized
warning lights for readers to seriously consider as we journey through her
book, sharing her life, in context, with the foundational Truths of Scripture.
This book is five star reading.

"8 DAYS THE MOVIE" - DEFEND OUR CHILDREN NOW
8 Days' A movie on the Sex Trafficking of America's Children Director & Screenwriter
ORIGINAL ARTICLE WRITTEN BY KATIE BAKER - CLICK HERE
The average age of a child being abducted here in America for sex trafficking is 12 years old! If the child is not found within the first 8 days, chances are the child is lost forever. Fox 4 News anchor, Heather Hayes, was in the movie "8 Days" and will be interviewing Jaco Booyens (Director) and his wife his wife Philipa Booyens (Screenwriter) with After Eden Productions.
This film, based on true events, shows the dangers of the sex trafficking of AMERICAs children! This film is being shown in movie theatres and high schools all across the country to warn parents and children of this grave and widespread danger. My husband and I had the honor to be Asst. Producers for the movie. While filming we worked directly with Homeland Security and they told us that one Friday 5PM until Monday morning 8AM three little girls were abducted from the bedroom community of McKinney, Texas! Folks, please watch out for your children and especially do not allow them to be unsupervised in the malls.

HOMEMAKING, AN HONORABLE POSITION
According to the Atlanta Centers for Disease Control located in Atlanta, Georgia, 75% of children/adolescents in chemical dependency hospitals are from single parent homes. 20% of children have a learning, emotional, or behavioral problem is the result of family situational change, according to the National Center for Health Statistics. Absentee fathers contribute to crime and delinquency, while violent crimes are overwhelming among young males that grew up without a father, according to the US Census Bureau Report regarding, Child Support and Alimony. It’s not surprising with these statistics that violent crimes in the Atlanta area, as well as many other cities are on the increase, and those appear to be with little regard for the sanctity of life.

I am in no way judging the many single parents who find themselves, struggling to do their very best. I was once in the same position, and if not by the grace of God, my children could have fallen into those very statistics.
“It takes a village to raise a child,” rang true in my life and that of my children’s. Neighbors, Christian friends, and Christian coaches, helped with the raising of my children beyond what I realized, at the time. In fact, in a way, they (each child) held each other accountable, as well. Not everyone has that network available, it seems. The network I had was instrumental in keeping my children on course. Did any stray? Of course! We all did, at times.
It has taken much reflection to realize just how important, the calling of a wife and mother is. I’ve always known it was, but society seems to dictate to women that if they do not possess a career outside the home, that they are somehow below par. It couldn’t be further from the truth. I did work outside the home at times. I felt I was called back into my home, when my twins turned two. Following that, I worked only around my children’s schedules, mainly at schools, as much as possible, being mostly a homemaker, until the day I became a single parent.
Fast forward to present. I am first a Christian, a wife, a mother, “Nana,” a friend, and writer. Our children and grandchildren love to be in our home. I often hear from our children, “I feel so relaxed, when we go there.” That’s what our homes should be, and it does take work, but it is well worth the effort. It took me a long time to learn this lesson.
It is so exciting to find some mothers in the metro area who are proud to be homemakers. Being a homemaker is an honorable position. According to the Bible, it should be taught to the younger women by the older women. “That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.” Titus 2:4-5 (KJV)
Maybe with the transient society that we now live in, it is more difficult for the older women to teach the younger, but I do see a trend in women returning to the home to guide their families, and whenever possible I try to encourage them, sharing some of what I have learned.
